When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this information to identify your account and associate your conversations with you. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Your information is used solely to provide the ReffChat service — authenticating you, saving your chat history, and personalizing your experience. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Conversations you have on ReffChat are stored in our database (Supabase) to provide chat history and continuity. Messages you send are forwarded to AI model providers (such as OpenRouter) to generate responses. Please refer to those providers' privacy policies for how they handle message data.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and row-level security on our database. Access to your data is restricted to your own account.
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
We use cookies for authentication sessions and to remember preferences such as sidebar state. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
